This challenge has no time limit, nor any prizes. What you gain are the bragging rights and a membership in the exclusive club of TC finishers. You must find all my TC caches. The names of these TC caches start with either 'TC' or 'Terrain Challenge'. As of today (January 1, 2010) there are 15 active TC caches. I may hide more TC caches in the future and you must find all then-active TC caches to claim to be a finisher.
You can use TC caches by popeye2 by Michael_SFBA (thanks, Michael) to get information on all TC caches.
Steve Walstra (Abraxas) has created a special program that shows a list of cachers and the TC caches they have found (thanks, Steve). The list should stay updated as time goes by. To check your current status, go to http://www.rawbw.com/~svw/popeye.html
'Terrain Challenge' Challenge: On Feb. 14, 2008, I challenged local geocachers to find all my TC (Terrain Challenge) caches and offered prizes to the first five finishers. That contest was over on March 12. By then, five cachers (Abraxas, dandm, alpharomero.com, catomcat and GoGoJo) had found all 14 TC caches then in existence.
'Terrain Challenge' Challenge No. 2: On April 4, 2008, I issued Challenge No. 2. Any cacher finding all the TC caches was entitled to receive a framed 'Certificate of Achievement'. By the time the challenge ended on December 31, 2009, four cachers (British Invasion, SouthBayCrew, bytemobile and mayela mingi) had found all 15 TC caches then in existence. dandm and Abraxas, who had previously completed the first challenge, found the 15th cache, placed after the end of the first challenge. Thus, they too qualified as finishers of this challenge.
